The Ginkgo tree, known as a living fossil, survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in 1945. CEO & Co-Founder
Khushi's journey started with a video from animal activist Arvind, sparking her desire for a compassionate life. Facing challenges in finding plant-based products and maintaining proper nutrition, she envisioned a solution. With support from her friend Nikhila Vishnuvajhala, they created EarthBased—a platform offering cruelty-free products and building a community of like-minded individuals. Recognizing the difficulty of maintaining a balanced diet on a vegan lifestyle, Nutritionist Support became a key feature of EarthBased. Khushi ensured that everyone had access to expert guidance, helping them lead a nutritious, sustainable life without compromise. Their philosophy, reflected in the tagline ONE SWITCH AT A TIME, emphasized gradual steps toward compassionate living. Beyond curating vegan products, they launched Basic Vichaar, a magazine exploring the impact of plant-based choices on the planet. EarthBased also took action on the ground, supporting sustainability initiatives like planting 175 trees to enhance wildlife habitats. Through EarthBased, Khushi created a platform that not only offered resources but also empowered people to live a complete, sustainable lifestyle.
