Greenmeat Curry Cuts are plain plant-based protein pieces made mainly from yellow pea and soy protein, with wheat gluten and corn starch for structure. They are unseasoned, so you cook them into your own recipe the way you would paneer or meat chunks. Because they are shelf stable, the pack lives in the cupboard rather than the freezer.
Key Features
Ingredients
Vegetable protein chunks (water, pea protein isolate, soy protein isolate, dietary fibre from pea fibre, wheat gluten, corn starch, salt), flavours and seasonings.
How to Use
Tear open the inner pouch, press the sides together to separate the pieces and tip them into a bowl. Cut the larger pieces if you want, then marinate for up to 30 minutes. Shallow fry for a minute or two in oil, ghee or butter if you like a firmer edge. Make your gravy as usual, add the pieces, and simmer on a low flame for five to ten minutes.

FAQs
Do I need to soak or boil them first?
No. Unlike dry soya chunks, these come hydrated. Separate the pieces and go straight to marinating or cooking.
What can I make with them?
Any recipe you would build around paneer or meat chunks: bhuna, kadai, butter masala, biryani, skewers or a dry stir fry.
Do they need refrigeration?
Not before opening. Afterwards, cook them the same day or freeze what is left for up to a week.
Are they gluten-containing?
Yes. Wheat gluten is part of the recipe, along with soy, so they are not suitable if you avoid either.
