The instant pepper roast pack keeps the two parts separate: plain Greenmeat curry cuts on one side, a ready pepper roast gravy of onion, tomato, ginger, garlic and green chilli on the other. You combine and simmer them, which takes about ten minutes and lets you decide how thick the dish ends up. It suits people who want to cook a little, not from scratch.
Key Features
Ingredients
Greenmeat curry cuts (water, pea protein isolate, soy protein isolate, pea fibre, wheat gluten, corn starch, salt, natural flavours) and pepper roast gravy (onion, tomato, refined sunflower oil, garlic, ginger, green chilli, coriander, spices and condiments, iodised salt, pepper, red chilli, turmeric, curry leaves).
How to Use
Separate the curry cuts and, if you have time, marinate them in a little of the gravy for 10 to 20 minutes. Sauté them briefly in a spoon of oil, ghee or butter, add the rest of the gravy and a cup of water, then simmer on a low flame for five to ten minutes. Garnish with curry leaves and adjust salt or green chilli to taste.

FAQs
How long does it take to cook?
About ten minutes on the stove, plus an optional 10 to 20 minutes of marination.
Can I add my own vegetables?
Yes. Capsicum, onion wedges or potato all work in the gravy, added at the simmering stage.
Should I choose this or the ready-to-eat pepper roast?
Choose this if you want to control the thickness and seasoning. Choose the ready-to-eat version if you want food on the plate in two minutes.
How spicy is the gravy?
Medium, with pepper and red chilli. You can raise it with extra green chilli or soften it with more water.
